Analogous Colors

This logo uses the analogous colors of red, orange, yellow-orange, yellow, yellow-green and green. I think the company probably chose these colors because it is a very appealing color scheme that represents the company.

This logo uses the analogous colors of red, yellow-orange, green and blue. I think the company probably chose these colors because they use a little bit of every color off the color wheel without using all of them. The variety of colors could also represent diversity.

Complementary Colors

This logo uses the complementary colors of red and green for the owl's eyes. I think the company probably chose these colors because they are two popular, world-y colors that happen to go very well together.

This logo uses the complementary colors of yellow-orange, orange, red-violet, violet, and blue-violet. I think the company probably chose these colors be

Warm Colors

This logo uses warm colors like red and yellow. I think that the people who made Jurassic Park chose these colors because warmer colors are typically more dramatic and bright, and they probably thought it would be a good fit for the movie. Plus, red and black go together and the yellow helps draw you in.

The Pinterest logo uses the warm color of red because of the fact that the color red is a very passionate color, and we all know that if you're on Pinterest, you're passionate- passionate for DIY's. I think the company chose this color because you'll look at it and want to know more, and you'll notice it because its a simple, bright red. And we all know how simplistic we all are, because all you have to do it hold it down and slide your finger over to pin- if you have the app.

 Cool Colors

Baskin Robbins's logo uses the cool colors of blue-indigo and red-violet. I mean, let's be honest.. that's magenta. But anyways, I think the company uses these colors because blue and "violet" being cool colors remind us of the cold, and ice cream, and it'll remind us of how much we've been craving ice cream this week.

The vine logo uses the warm color of green because vines are  green in real life... real alive vines... are green.

Monochromatic Colors

The Engineering Academy uses a monochromatic blue, gray and silver. I think they chose these colors because when you- well, when I think of engineering I think of robots, and metal, and stuff like that, and they added a tint to the gray to remind us of metal. They added the blue to create some contrast so it wasn't just a sad, gray logo.

When Disney was coming up with Frozen's logo, they used the monochromatic color blue and tinted it to give it an icy effect. I think Disney did this so that when we think about ice, we think about Frozen and it's logo, that resembles solid aych-too-oh.

Triad Colors

The NBC logo uses the triad colors of red, orange and yellow, and then green, blue and purple. I think they did this because using the two sets of monochromatic colors makes the logo look more attractive and memorable.

The Colorado logo uses the triad colors of red, yellow, and blue. I think that they did this to represent the color scheme of cold/nature because Colorado is known for its mountains and parks and stuff.
