Web Design in e9
Today is finals day and we finished our web design projects!
Cringey Picture. Don't ask. |
Overview
The project was relaxing for me, but the girl who sits next to me would probably say otherwise. Our final project of the semester was to make-slash-program our own two website pages using Adobe DreamWeaver. I don't know why it's called DreamWeaver, but it sounds nice! Like I said before, our project involved coding, which I’d never done before. We had to watch a series of 5-7 15 minutes videos of Mr. Olson explaining what to do, and then after we got the website set up, we got to design it. It’s weird to think that someone would actually want to code a website when you could just create one using Weebly, Wix, or even blogger where no coding is involved, but I actually do think it was fun to try, and that you should try to code/program something at some point in your life because seeing what you coded after you actually coded, like a website, it really does make you feel accomplished.
What I Learned
Let’s start off by saying that I learned how to code, and that it’s tetious (for me), but it’s actually not too difficult. I also learned that you can build a website by just using numbers and letters.
How It Went
I think it went pretty well- I love the colors I chose, and luckily nothing went wrong.
